Form of workThe Lab Coordinator, under limited supervision, will ensure company standards are met for all functions as they pertain to the Quality Control Laboratory. Overtime may be required to meet business needs. Responsibilities: Reviews and edits Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to meet compliance requirements.
Monitors cGMP training for all employees within the department. Answers incoming calls and/or electronic communication for lab management by relaying detailed information in a timely and clear manner. Updates and accurately maintains laboratory chemical inventory files; SDS, Specification, SOP, and AP binders.
Orders and organizes office and lab supplies for lab, as needed, and monitors usage. Completes administrative tasks daily, such as: copying, faxing, scanning, typing, and filing. Types up red-lined documents and facilitates the DCR process in a timely manner.
Set-ups, organizes, and maintains laboratory filing systems and log books. Gathers, and process documents for raw materials, in process, and finished products testing. Organizes all outside lab results in hard copy and electronic format.
Follow ups with testing labs to ensure on time delivery of results. Maintains associated electronic files and alert management team of any delays. Follows/enforces that everyone adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures.
Completes other projects and duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: 2+ years' experience in an Administrative or Project Management role. Communication Skills (Oral/Written) - able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations.
Computer Skills (Beginner to Intermediate level) - ability to use MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook Detail Oriented - pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, double checking their work.
