The QA Testing Analyst for the Cybersecurity applications will work as part of the larger team to help ensure the quality, performance and excellence of the solutions provided to our business partners.
Detailed Description:
This role is a Quality Testing Analyst Lead position that requires the individual to have the aptitude to learn and to participate in the development of test cases, test scripts and test data. The team will look to this individual to lead, assist in software releases on an on-going basis and help execute the tasks and activities of the broader testing team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate and track any quality risks, gaps, or issues.
- Communicate the status of testing initiatives to the stakeholder groups and lead triage meetings.
- Verify and review software and business requirements.
- Continually improve the testing infrastructure, tools, and processes.
- Have responsibilities in the process of traceability of requirements through to functional tests and defect lists.
- Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance.
- Establish, document, and enhance QA processes, train team members on those processes.
- Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product.
- Candidates must lead the planning and execution of testing for the conversion of admin systems.
- Plan, develop, and execute test strategy across products and platforms.
- Work on building a Quality driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly and with good confidence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all quality aspects of releases.
- Develop, maintain, and operationalize test plans.
- Develop, execute and maintain automation test scripts.
- Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across multiple products.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 years of QA or UAT testing experience with industry standard testing/development and quality assurance methodologies and validation processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge with a good understanding of software development principles (e.g., object-oriented programming), QA Framework/Basic Test Methodology and project lifecycles (e.g.,SDLC) Experience testing web and client server based applications.
- Experience leading testing process and testing teams
- Experience working in conjunction with the Application Lead to ensure Software QA practices related to Design Review and Code Reviews are being performed.
- Oversee the development of the System and Integration Test plans.
- 5 years of experience in defect tracking tools.
- Experience developing test deliverables like test plans, test cases, test data, traceability matrix.
- Ensure that defects are correctly captured, reviewed, prioritized, and triaged and that Break-Fix resources are assigned to resolve defects
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions within security organization
- Ability to effectively communicate and present quality, compliance and risk issues to project team members
