Summary:
The QA Testing Analyst - Senior will be assisting in all testing activities related to the delivery of a Digital Payment capability and application solutions delivering business and financial benefits to our business partners.
To be successful the candidate must be driven and well-organized. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and drive the testing teams to complete tasks on agreed schedules. Management may look to this individual to provide leadership during software releases on an on-going basis and to ensure the completion of all tasks and activities performed by the broader testing team. This individual is expected to help lead relationships with the business, internal testing teams and external vendors must develop the ability to push back when required.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Business Systems Analysts and Development teams in the analysis and review of business objectives and requirements to ensure requirements are testable.
• Responsible for planning, integration, test case writing, scripting, and execution of Rest API testing to ensure proper coverage.
• Ensure all team deliverables are planned, prioritized, tracked, and completed. Deliverables include test cases, test plans and user stories within the Huntington standards.
• Provides leadership and execution of testing using HNB manual and/or automated test processes.
• Partners with scrum team to ensure system behavior is functioning as expected.
• Partners closely with QA lead for all the testing activities and defect management
• Actively participates in Agile SCRUM ceremonies.
• Participates in End-to-end testing that involves various other applications.
• Actively participate in the review of architectural and technical design specifications
• May run database queries to supply data validation within test scripts.
• Works with BSAs and Development teams on defect analysis and triage
• Assigns defect severity, and manages defects throughout the project
• Identifies any potential quality issues per defined processes and escalates potential quality issues immediately to management.
• Ensures all aspects of testing, such as manual execution, regression, automation, and performance testing, are completed within the desired time.
• Maintains the regression test bed to meet changing requirements.
• Participates in off-hour production releases as needed
• Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgement and problem solving.
• Uses tools such as Postman, Thunderclient, Jmeter, GIT, Jenkins, SOAP UI, SQL Server

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of testing experience
• 2+ years of IT experience that includes IT Analytics, IT Troubleshooting, or IT Customer Service

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have experience working in Rest APIs
• Strong technical knowledge with a good understanding of software development principles, QA Framework/Basic Test Methodology, and project lifecycles (e.g., SDLC)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain system issues clearly and concisely and establish effective working relationships.
• High motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Willingness and drive to learn and understand detailed software solutions
• Proficient in Quality Management Software and related processes
• Exposure to API Automation
• Experience with Azure Devops
• Previous experience working with Money Movement Initiatives
• Agile Certifications
• Jenkins
