Purchasing Coordinator

Reliable Construction Purchasing Coordinator needed for a roofing and steel contractor on-site in Anna, TX.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions

· Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements, track on master spreadsheet

· Track material over/under, general inventory management

· Maintain vendor relationship, coordinate will-calls, delivery’s and other vendor related duties as needed

· Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns

· Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings, verify pick ticks from Supers, and rectify any issues or shortages from material not received

· 3-way match with AP from pick tics, delivery tics and PO’s (estimates)

· Coordinate with AP Specialist on any issues or corrections from PO’s to invoices

· Order and track rental equipment, ensure proper pickup of rental equipment at end of contract

· Prepare reports for PO’s and rental equipment including location, time on rent and budgets

· Monitor rebates and other discounts associated with purchased materials and equipment

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Salary is depending on experience.***

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
