We are an oil and gas rental company with locations in Corpus Christi and Midland, TX.
The Purchasing Coordinator maintains inventories of materials and receives orders from departments within the organization. This position processes those orders and schedules deliveries for supplies, materials, equipment, and services. This position also ensures company inventory is maintained in accordance with company policies. Purchasing Coordinators also keep records and create reports regarding supply costs.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Purchasing Experience Required
- Inventory Experience Required
- Oilfield Experience Preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting and billing practices.
- Knowledge of computers and data entry.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
Required Skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints.
- Good mathematical skills involving rates and percentages.
- Ability to work well with and around others.
