Purchasing and Accounting Clerk - Brunswick, GA
Continental Heavy Civil Corp, located in Brunswick, Georgia has an opening for a Purchasing and Accounting Clerk.
Basic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preventive maintenance and database management
- Work with asset manager to create, maintain, and update records.
- Includes preventive maintenance activities and asset management.
- Manage the work order process, systems, and associated data continuity, as it specifically relates to facility management/reporting.
- Manage and coordinate work with 2nd and 3rd party vendors including tracking work order completion, vendor and project manager follow up.
Equipment Management
- Set up new equipment in the system.
- Assign physical location for all new parts added to the system.
- Issue and Receive parts to Work Orders, Assets.
- Adjust inventory.
Purchasing & Receiving MRO Parts
- Ensure proper receipt of materials.
- Match PO Receiver to packing slips.
Buying
- Initiate contact with vendor for quotes.
- Keep up to date with the cost of parts.
- Create PO requests for approval.
- Submit approved PO to vendor.
- Collect extra charges, shipping information and updates PO.
- Match PO receiver with invoices.
- Process invoices and enter into AP system.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs
- Be detail oriented, ability to organized, and strong analytical skills.
- 2+ years in either a Maintenance Clerk, Purchasing Clerk, parts Clerk, or Accounting.
