Accounting Clerk
Overview:
The Accounting Clerk is an entry-level position responsible for assisting the Accounting Department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the Company. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
Qualifications & Necessary Attributes:
- Minimum high school diploma
- 2-years minimum accounting experience
- Strong verbal and written communications required
- Good data entry skills are required
- Outstanding team player with good interpersonal skills
- Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work
- Self-motivated with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and maintain control of a high-volume workload
- High attention to detail
- Experience using accounting software a plus
Essential Functions:
- Filing & maintenance of accounting records (AP/AR/Subcontractor Insurance, Credit Card Authorizations, etc.)
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Serve as backup to Accounts Payable clerk
- Internal auditing as instructed by Controller
- Cross-train in other areas of the Accounting Department as deemed necessary by the Controller
- Audit support as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
