PURCHASE ORDER CUSTOMER SERVICE REP
TYPE: Direct Hire – 100% In Office
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
PAY: $45k – $55k annually
SUMMARY: In this role, you will play a crucial part in order processing, ensuring the prompt and accurate delivery of products to our esteemed food and beverage customers. Collaboration with management and warehouse teams is key, involving active participation in inventory planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Customer Service administration and a comprehensive understanding of transportation logistics, including the latest technological advancements. YOUR DUTIES AS THE PURCHASE ORDER CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Proficiently process customer orders utilizing internal systems, particularly Microsoft Nav Dynamics.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to ensure the timely shipment of orders, meeting customer requirements.
- Track shipments diligently to guarantee orders are delivered by the requested delivery date.
- Execute prompt invoicing, completing orders within 24 hours of pick-up.
- Work closely with the Customer Service Manager to maintain an effective tracking system.
- Undertake additional day-to-day tasks and assignments as required to meet the evolving needs of the business.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED TO BE THE PURCHASE ORDER CUSTOMER SERVICE REP:
- Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in order processing.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in logistics or a business-related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. While a logistics certification is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
- Exhibit strong Customer Service skills to effectively handle customer orders and inquiries.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Showcase proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on strong Excel skills.
- Display exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
