Summary:
The Public Relations Manager (Social Media) supports and optimizes CLA's communication and Social Media strategies and support CLA's larger communications efforts and projects. This position is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring CLA's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness and improve marketing efforts. This includes working with our Sections to curate valuable content for members to learn and engage via our social channels. The Public Relations Manager (Social Media) will also coordinate marketing materials, Public Relations and advertisements to distribute via CLA social channels. Duties also entail tracking campaign progress, developing various digital marketing materials, sourcing images and artwork, collating content, updating online assets, streamlining digital marketing production, handling general digital marketing and communications activities. Additionally, the Public Relations Manager (Social Media) will collaborate with and support CLA Sections volunteer leaders to enhance the content strategy for all Section Social Media channels. Creative thinking skills and strategies is an essential part in driving our digital narrative, enhancing CLA's image, improving digital communication, and encouraging organization growth through effective campaigns.
This role helps implement and maintain online content strategies by using various forms of new media, such as blogging, social networking sites, discussion boards, and search platforms, that represent a company through online channels.
Ideal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, multimedia savvy, well-organized, and be excellent writers and communicators. Ultimately, the exceptional Public Relations Manager (Social Media) should have a firm grasp of the different digital touch points, drive highly effective digital campaigns, enhance user experience, and deliver on marketing objectives.
