This is a flexible part time benefit eligible position M-F.
We are searching for someone who is excited to work with our client members to create an exceptional service experience. This position can begin work on appropriate financial service licenses.

JOB SUMMARY:
The MY Retirement and Investment Solutions Office Administrator teams up with our Financial Advisor to help our member clients achieve their long-term financial goals. The Office Administrator will provide support to MY Retirement and Investments Solutions Department, Financial Advisor, and MY Credit Union members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the operations of MY Retirement and Investment Solutions.
- Upload client information and documents.
- Work with other financials to complete member transaction requests.
- Facilitate and complete member client documents.
- Fax and email any outstanding requirements.
- Provide service to clients for distributions, address changes, beneficiary changes, returning phone calls to assist clients, point of contact for Advisor when Advisor is unavailable.
- Contact members for appointment reminders.
- Support Marketing with Mailers, Newsletters, Holiday Cards, and Seminar Invites.
- Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, reports, special projects, and other documents in support of objectives for the service area.
- Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment; perform additional duties as assigned by either Advisor or Program Manager.
- Represent MY Retirement and Investment Solutions in a positive light through great follow-through skills and sound judgement.
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Event coordination and planning of events including meetings, scheduling, working with outside vendors, contracts, and organizing catering when necessary.

- Complies with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/CIP (U.S. Patriot Act) procedures and policies.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and security of member information and other sensitive data, in accordance with MY Credit Union’s policies and procedures.
- To remain compliant with all other MY Credit Union’s policies and procedures
- Be an effective team member through cooperation, flexibility, dependability, attendance, lack of tardiness and participation at meetings and training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year banking, investment, or Office Administrator experience preferred.
Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Ability to speak effectively to members and employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret basic forms, credit union documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Desire, ability, and experience in working with and helping people in a professional setting with a professional business appearance.
- Currently hold or have the ability to obtain Series 6 or Series 7 license within 12 months
- Pass Background check by Broker Dealer partner, be bondable, and honest.
- Must be computer-literate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating system. Ability to use copy machine, fax machine, printer, postage meter, and other general office equipment.
- Must be detailed oriented and well organized.

Physical Requirements:
- The employee occasionally must be able to move and/or lift up to 35 pounds.
- The employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods; use their hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must be able to read from a computer screen and enter data with the use of a keyboard.
Working Conditions:
- Stress varies depending on workflow from high to low.
- Some travel between offices may be required.
