You will be working directly with our funeral directors and helping to serve our families. Must be a team player.
Will need to be able to answer phones in a professional, calm, and compassionate manner.
Strong communication and time management skills. Must know how to prioritize tasks. Attention to detail and being able to work independently is a must. You will need to multitask.
Must be proficient with Microsoft, creating and designing printed memorial folders and additional memorial documents. Typing accurately, proofreading, data management software, strong computer skills, with additional clerical and administrative tasks.
Must be able to preserve confidentiality.
Will need to help manage office supply inventory.
Will need to dress for an office and funeral service environment.
Quick books and banking experience is helpful but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
8 hour days Monday – Friday and every other Saturday. This can be flexible, as you will work along side another secretary.
