School Psychologist - onsite
7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will work directly with students, educators, and families to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic and behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized intervention plans.
Provide counseling and guidance to students facing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
Offer support and strategies to teachers to address classroom management and student needs.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute insights for student success.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of school psychology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology (major) is required; Master's degree in School Psychology or related field is preferred.
State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Strong understanding of psychological principles and their application in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, educators, and families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the well-being of students.
Must be able to undergo and pass a background check, fingerprints, Basic Life Support Certification etc.
