**Position Overview:**

As the Proposal Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in finding potential opportunities while leading and executing the development and submission of winning proposals. You will collaborate with the operations team to craft compelling proposals that showcase our capabilities and solutions, ultimately driving business growth and success.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage the end-to-end proposal process, from initial request to submission and post-submission activities.

- Lead proposal kickoff meetings, defining timelines, roles, and responsibilities.

- Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and schedules to ensure timely submission.

- Coordinate with the operations team to gather necessary proposal information and content.

- Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with requirements.

- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure proposals meet established criteria and reflect our company's value proposition.

- Collaborate with graphics and design lead to create visually appealing and impactful proposal documents.

- Develop and maintain a proposal library and templates to streamline future Proposal Development efforts.

- Track proposal metrics and performance to identify areas for improvement and best practices.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- Proven experience in proposal management, preferably in fiber optic, low voltage, or data.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to gather information and drive consensus.

- Ability to manage your own time and prioritize assignments.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

- Familiarity with Canva and or the ability to learn for design.

- Familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations is a plus.
