Proofing Specialist

Position Summary

The primary function of this role is to proof orders that have been entered into the system.

Position Details

• Proofing of orders
• Performs administrative tasks related to customer information and orders
• Process orders for products and materials
• Making sure all aspects of the purchase order match what is in the system and making corrections as needed
• Coding orders so they proceed to the plant for production
• Communicating with Customer Service Reps with information relative to order holds
• Work closely with order entry

Position Requirements

• Must be detail oriented and precise
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Job commitment
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Must be able to focus on their work with others talking around them
• Outstanding computer skills including Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, communication systems
• SAP experience desired
