Project Manager – Mid Level

BITS is a growing software development company in Washington DC area. We provide database solutions, application development, infrastructure supports, network engineering, and high-end computing using innovative technologies to the health agencies. We are looking for a Project Manager - Mid Level for one of our FEDERAL projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Must manage contract resources across all phases of planning, requirements elicitation, development, testing, and deployment to achieve successful performance of all project tasks.
• Must provide oversight and direction to the technical team, establishes schedules, and meets deadlines. Must be responsible for contract deliverables and reporting.

Experience Requirement:

• Must have Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience managing IT development and O&M projects using agile solutions delivery and 2+ years of experience successfully delivering DevSecOps platforms/frameworks.
• Demonstrating In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization, security, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), Jenkins, GitLab/Git Hub, SonarQube and JIRA, etc.
• Must have PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $155,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
