Job Description


What role will you play?

Project management is a big piece of how we engage and assist our clients with their experience to bring our product onboard to their business! It is a crucial aspect to our success as a company! Ensuring our clients’ needs are met within the confines of guided timelines and set expectations takes a focus and organizational drive that needs to be spearheaded. Our Project Manager will need to be a proactive and forward-thinking individual who harnesses a passion for productivity behind results and cross functional participation. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project delivery within an IT and software delivery environment. As a Project Manager you will hold a high profile with both internal stakeholders and our client base. You will be responsible for managing complex and fast paced work, against strict timelines with steady expectations! As a key player in the implementation of our product life cycle, it is important that this role is filled with an ambitious, creative thinking and charged individual who is confident in their capabilities of meeting and exceeding client standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Management of multiple small to medium projects simultaneously
  • Develop mutually agreed Project Plans, between client and customer, to ensure delivery success
  • Preparation and management of all project documentation in accordance with project governance and compliance
  • Defining project resource requirements, working with relevant line managers to secure, and booking and managing resource in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Managing project risks and issues and associated reporting, escalation, and resolution.
  • Management of financial elements during implementation (quotes / billing requests /invoices / compiling expenses for recharging / overdue accounts)
  • Monitoring and tracking all project activity and reporting the status of project schedules and budgets to the relevant stakeholders
  • Effective management of Change Requests and ensuring that the Change Control process is adhered to.
  • Conducting project meetings (frequency as agreed by Project Team) and ensuring that meetings are documented both internal and client facing
  • Preparing collateral for, and attending Steering Group meetings
  • Integrate ongoing risk management trade-offs

Qualifications


What do we require from you?

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc
  • Full cycle SDLC project management experience (from pre-study to stabilization)
  • Experience with governance and tollgates (client signoffs)
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Agile experience (and/or iterative development)

Education/Certification/License Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Working Experience:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Successful management of projects within the financial services sector

Preferred Experience:

  • Fintech industry exposure
  • PMP Certification

Pay Transparency: $95,000/annually
