Janitorial Cleaners At Toyota 1St, 2Nd & 3Rd Shift

Job Type: General Cleaners 1st shift (7am- 3:30pm) 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) 3rd Shift (11pm to 7am)

$13-$15 per hour/M-F

Job overview – These positions are to support our janitorial contract with Toyota. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.

Requirements

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, disposing waste to designated receptacles in all areas as designated.
• Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, sanitized and inspected according to the highest standards.
• Proper use and handling of cleaning equipment. Make sure there are no inadequacies in performance and report any issues to your supervisor immediately.
• Notify superiors on any damaged fixtures, dispensers and furniture or building furnishings.
• Deal with reasonable requests /complaints with professionalism and patience.
• Effectively communicate with the building occupants to accomplish assignments tasks.
• Understand and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, customer rules and regulations, and safety rules and regulations.

Experience/Knowledge:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience a plus, not required
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and floor equipment a plus.

Skills/Aptitude:

• Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers.

Work Environment:

• Generally in an indoor setting; however, may participate in outside activities and events.
• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to smells, heat/cold during summer and winter months.
• The noise level in some work environments is usually moderate to loud.
• Protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment is required by the work environment or safety regulations.
• Will be exposed to various cleaning chemicals
