Responsibilities:
SYSTEMS & TOOLS
- Create a maintain a project manager spreadsheet that is accurate, visible, and understandable to all key relationships
- Oversee and update the facilities management software (EcoTrack or other) to ensure the same
- Ensure our AP/AR for facilities related expenses are on time, on budget and without duplication or error
- Share a report of your findings on efficiencies (cost, time, communications) within the first three weeks of a new quarter (April, July, November, January)
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
- Establish a schedule to communicate all pertinent updates to our in-store leaders while being accessible during normal operating hours (Monday - Friday 9am-5 pm)
- Share monthly reports on all progress and open ticket items with each General Manager
- Establish role clarity within the facilities team and the broader main office so that they know who is responsible for any given task
VALUE ENGENIRENG :
- Look for multiple quotes to lower the cost of repairs
- Provide guidance for in-store operators on how to reduce unnecessary service calls and avoid duplicate scheduling
- Create a restaurant-by-restaurant CAPEX and OPERATIONS budget at the being of every year with periodic updates on a monthly and quarterly basis
VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS:
- Establish and build upon relationships with our key vendors while negotiating for better rates and faster service
- Communicate issues and delays with vendors in a respectful and constructive way
- Try to align all restaurants on the same vendors while establishing a hierarchy of ‘who to call first’
- Periodically audit and report on which vendors we should bring in or move on from based on performance
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND SCHEDULING
- Establish and system for preventive maintenance at all restaurants and ensure these tasks are being completed by both in-house team members and external vendors
