Job Description
Casne Engineering is seeking a Project Coordinator with 2+ years’ experience as an administrator in the construction industry. As part of our Engineering Services department in Bellevue, WA, you will provide project support for our team of Program Managers to ensure everything is on schedule and within budget. We are looking for individuals that are detail-oriented, resourceful, and are working towards expanding their skillset and responsibilities.
In this position, you will engage in a wide range of projects, including the design of innovative buildings and the creation of sustainable infrastructure solutions. You'll collaborate with a team of creative professionals, playing a key role in delivering solutions to our high-profile clients. Your contributions will be crucial to the successful completion of these projects, ensuring we deliver top-quality services to our customers.
Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Data entry and updating of company and project databases, data transfers and e-document management
- Assist in preparing project documentation, maintaining contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Assist in budget tracking and expense management
Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate and track project activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones
- Facilitate communication between project team members, subcontractors, and clients
- Assist in organizing and attending project meetings, taking minutes, and distributing action items
Documentation and Reporting
- Assist in preparing submittals, progress reports, project status updates, and presentations
- Assist in tracking and documenting project issues, risks, and resolutions
- Support the project closeout process, including finalizing project records
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as an administrator in the construction industry
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and management of PDF documents
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadline-driven tasks effectively and efficiently, including a proactive approach to follow-up
- Successful completion of background checks (including possible drug testing, depending on the client) for access badging requirements
Preferences
- Proven experience as an administrator in the construction industry and knowledge of construction processes
- Experience with budget and schedule management as well as contract administration
- Experience with shared information portals such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, Newforma, Procore, etc.
- Experience in handling sensitive client information and documents
