Reports to: Unit Director, Monroe Boys & Girls Club of Snohomish County
Location: Monroe, Washington

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Unit Director, the Program Director plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates programs and activities that enhance the personal growth and development of Club members. Works to maintain a safe, fun and quality environment that follows child care licensing requirements.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Is personally involved in the daily planning and implementation of the Boys & Girls Clubs five key areas:

- Supportive relationships with caring adults
- Opportunities to learn & grow
- Recognition & positive reinforcement
- Establishes a program setting that ensures the health and safety of members.
- Contributes to the creation of the overall Club climate for youth development.
- Plans programs and activities consistent with the organization's youth development mission.
- Provides behavioral guidance to Club members.
- Manages necessary administrative functions and assigned resources, including program budgets.
- Promotes and markets programs to Club members to increase membership and daily attendance.
- Responsible for childcare licensing, membership and attendance reporting.
- Manages Formula for Impact process to ensure priority outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles.
- Responsible for Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County and Boys & Girls Clubs of America documentation: Kid Trax, Americans with Disabilities Act, National Youth Outcomes Initiative, and grant tracking.
- Assists Unit Director in maintaining compliance with State of Washington child care licensing requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree or equivalent experience necessary to perform the functions of the job required.
Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar non-profit organization preferred.
Education or youth development background preferred.
Licensed child care experience preferred.
Must be at least 23 years of age with a clean driving record.
