- Be able to review mechanical drawings of parts and assemblies, identify how parts are manufactured to ensure work orders are set up and entered appropriately.
- Enter sales orders and create work orders /shop schedules, solve production problems, seek to improve processes, and help fulfill company expectations.
- Use ERP system to generate reports and schedules.
- Maintains integrity/control of customer contracts.
- Turn Quotes into sales orders, work orders, when an RFQ is won or a repeat order is received from a customer.
- Review and analyze the plant MRP to identify action on orders to be taken as needed.
- Schedule flow of work between departments, establishes priorities and availability of materials, equipment and workers in the production schedules.
- Provide timely and quality services and support to all internal and external customers.
- Prepares bill of materials and routing instruction to go to the production floor.
- Review Engineering Change Requests and take appropriate action with inventory quantities and purchase orders.
