The Mountain Top, PA facility is in search of a Production Scheduler who will act as Liaison between, Supply Chain, Plant leadership, Customer Service, and Sales. The primary responsibility is to schedule production to meet order expectations, while maintaining necessary inventory at optimum levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a well-planned production schedule that works to meet customer requirements and maximize machine efficiencies
- Work with Customer Service/Sales answering inquiries, bump and commitment requests.
- Print work Orders. Review the work orders to ensure that all raw material and equipment is available to run orders.
- Ensure production schedule is put together for the Production lines, adding or re-arranging as needed.
- Review schedule with Production and Operations Managers to ensure that the machine equipment and packaging materials are available for each order.
- Review each order and determine if the sequencing is correct based on all of the orders scheduled. Any orders that should be reassigned to other lines based on machine capabilities as well as efficiencies
- Ensure appropriate reports are generated on a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Logistics on shipping information.
- Collect and update production work in computer system
- Follow set guidelines regarding completion times and distribution of work orders.
- Responsible for adhering to and executing the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees according to Berry, local, state, and federal requirement-regulations.
Qualifications:
- Four Year Degree or closely related equivalent.
- Production Manufacturing background preferred.
- Production Scheduling experience required.
- Experience using MRP/ERP Business Systems.
- JDE, Cognos, Preactor, Logility Programs, a plus.
- Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Software, and other applications.
- Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, interpreting and communicating Data.
- Well-articulated. Verbal, and written capability to interface across multiple areas of Business Unit.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,500.00 per year
