We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production planning principles and practices, as well as experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint. The candidate will be responsible for managing schedules for multiple projects, creating and modifying existing project schedules, serving as project coordinator, scheduling meetings and recording meeting minutes for later reference, coordinating guidance development efforts with Government customer and external vendors, assisting QA/PMRC team with deliverables, tracking and reporting on deliverable items, and collecting data from PM's for MSR and QPR reports.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manages schedules for multiple projects.
- Creates and modifies existing project schedules as needed.
- Serves as project coordinator, schedules meetings and records meeting minutes for later reference.
- Coordinates guidance development efforts with Government customer and external vendors.
- Assists QA/PMRC team with deliverables.
- Tracks and reports on deliverable items and collects data from PM's for MSR and QPR reports.
- Creates and updates process documentation and templates.
- Supports program task execution and performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Proficient with MS Project, Excel, and Office products.
- Experience with SharePoint.
- Good organization skills with ability to streamline processes and procedures.
- Ability to work as a team player and take initiative on tasks.
Certifications
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I
Security Clearance
- DoD Interim Secret / Final Secret clearance is required
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
- Remote work may be authorized
