Job Description
Oberg Industries is seeking a dynamic Production Planner who thrives on meeting deadlines and is driven to achieve organizational objectives. In this role, the Production Planner will be responsible for planning the routing of manufacturing assemblies, subassemblies and components, analyzing operational schedules and collaborating with shop floor supervisors to establish realistic and achievable production timelines.
The Production Planner will work on-site at our Oberg Medical facility located in Sarver, PA. This is a daylight position working Monday thru Friday. The Production Planner role is a full-time, hourly position with the opportunity to work overtime. Oberg pays overtime on any hours worked over an 8-hour day.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop production plans for assemblies, subassemblies, and components to meet production schedules.
- Organize and schedule shop floor activities using MRP system.
- Analyze operational schedules and data within MRP system to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate directly with shop floor department supervisors during scheduling to establish realistic and achievable timelines.
- Manage rerouting and replanning of scrap and rework through the quality nonconformance system.
- Coordinate with the Configuration Management department to set-up items on projects in MRP system, updating bill of materials and routes as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of Engineering Change Requests, updating both the system software and physical paperwork on the shop floor.
- Facilitate the receipt and distribution of work from other divisions.
Qualifications/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
- Must be able to communicate through written, verbal, or other means of communication.
- Must be able to understand written correspondence.
- Must have a working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
- Must be able to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
