We currently have an opportunity for a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Manager located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager, you will work hands on to drive transformational change, help to create and execute an agile DE&I strategy that is able to adapt to the emerging needs of a rapidly changing organization. This role reports directly to the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies that leverage individual experience and backgrounds to establish an inclusive and welcoming environment. The successful candidate typically will have related experience in a large, complex organization, with a reputation for excellence. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate closely with the Director of DEI to develop, refine, and execute the DEI strategic plan; Leverage data analytics to monitor progress on DEI projects and initiatives; Recommend and implement changes to DEI strategies based on evolving needs and priorities.
  • Lead Internal DEI Initiatives: Support the Director of DEI in the design and execution of internal initiatives; Establish a feedback loop to regularly seek input from employees about DEI challenges and opportunities, ensuring a continuous improvement approach.
  • Expand Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal partners to design and manage stakeholder communication channels to disseminate information on DEI efforts; Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to promote transparency and engagement in DEI initiatives.
  • Work Closely with DEI Advisory Council: Collaborate with the DEI Advisory Council; Engage with internal stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on DEI matters affecting the company; Act as a liaison between the DEI Advisory Council and senior management, conveying council perspectives and recommendations.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate DEI considerations into work processes, programs and initiatives.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of DEI, and/or other senior management members.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure programs to ensure accountability – possessing strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of global diversity issues and trends, educating the organization and adjusting strategies.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to internal resources on relevant topics.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated professional experience with diversity, equity, inclusion initiatives.
  • Proven track record of implementing innovative diversity and Inclusion initiatives and programs that result in tangible outcomes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization.
  • Proven track record of collaborating across teams to facilitate and foster communications and involvement.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to collaborate, establish and maintain rapport.
  • Culture design and transformation experience highly preferred, with a focus on change management experience, implementing enterprise-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Knowledgeable about EEO laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.

Icing on the cake:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, business administration or human resources.
  • Two or more years of experience facilitating trainings and discussions on DEI topics.
