Procurement Specialist, Junior
Key Role:
Work as a motivated and dependable Provisioning Specialist in a fast-paced and detailed oriented team. Maintain and follow all established local and corporate purchasing procedures for all orders regardless of value. Formalize client purchase requests and material fabrication requests to create purchase orders and fabrication requests. Seek out and identify multiple suitable vendors and analyze best price based on multiple factors. Work closely with vendors, corporate purchasing, quality assurance, and the client, tracking purchases through physical delivery to the client. Liaise between vendors, quality assurance, and the client to correct discrepancies discovered during ordering and quality inspections. Maintain an accurate and timely history of all actions performed during the provisioning process. Solve routine and unique problems of increased complexity, and recognize and refer problems above scope to higher levels. Work both individually and within a team.
Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience provisioning parts and services through commercial vendors
• 1+ years of experience working with a corporate purchasing entity
• Experience working with multi-functional, commercial vendors to quickly identify unique requirement solutions
• Experience monitoring over 100 separate orders per month, and tracking and coordinating delivery schedules and invoicing
• Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with requisition posting
• Experience working in corporate expense reporting system
• Experience working in DoD purchasing
• Experience with DoD part numbers
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree
• Forklift License

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $45,300.00 to $93,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
