Job DescriptionRenesas Electronics is looking to fill a Procurement/Purchasing Support position in Palm Bay, FL.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing
- Coordinate with inventory team, management and stockroom as required
- Process Purchase Orders and update requestors on the status of orders
- Provide multi-category support as assigned
- Assist in executing competitive bids and other sourcing projects
- Assist in communicating with and negotiating with suppliers
- Assist Analysis of changing market conditions - gather information for benchmarking
- Perform detailed analysis of spend and other data to identify savings, define efficiency opportunities, and tactical and strategic initiatives that should be undertaken
- Support periodic key stakeholder meetings to review commodity strategy and activities by preparing materials as assigned
- Build relationship with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Successful candidates for this position will have a passion for negotiation

- Good judgement
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- The ability to multitask.
- Strong Presentation skills
- Minimum 2 years in a buyer/purchasing role.
- Functional skills: Analytical, highly attentive to detail, data management, able to learn best practices and principles
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office required. SAP system knowledge preferred.
