Position Description
Source, procure and negotiate with potential vendors in both a reactive and strategic approach to best support customer needs. Onboard, educate and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure continued partnership.
Responsibilities:
Source and procure vendors as needed by region, rate and trade.
Identify gaps in coverage.
Lead service providers throughout the application process.
Negotiate rates.
Train and educate service providers on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), behaviors and work ethic.
Ensure vendor document compliance.
Maintain a database of all applicants by trade(s).
Collect Licenses, Certificates and Business registration information
Collect Certificate of Insurances (COIs)
Collect Vendor Agreements and SOPs
Follow up on compensation and benefits for internal service providers.
Foster and develop relationships with existing vendors to expand their coverage areas.
Collect feedback from project coordinators and hold conversations with vendors accordingly. Maintain a log of all communication.
Handle service providers disputes due to poor craftsmanship and/ or customer service reports.
Work directly with service providers on conflict resolution.
Escalate legal issues as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cold Caller/Appointment Setter or similar role in a B2B environment.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Conflict resolution skills
Ability to handle rejection and overcome objections
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Hubspot or Salesforce is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be a self-starter and self-disciplined.
