Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing and Negotiation:

  • Collaborate effectively with suppliers to negotiate optimal terms.

  • Balance cost, volume, and quality considerations to strike agreements aligned with Apple’s performance criteria.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Global Supply Management teams.

  • Rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders.

  • Identify potential supply risks that impact product strategy.

• Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Conduct cost and scenario analyses, benchmarking against industry standards.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of value-added manufacturing processes and costs.

  • Create should-cost models to drive best-in-class pricing.

• Risk Management:

  • Assess and mitigate risks to the business.

  • Manage Global Supply chain disruptions in real time, leveraging our international team.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s or MBA degree in similar capacity and 3+ years of work experience in similar capacity.

• Thrive in a fast-paced procurement and supply chain environment.

• Proven track record in global supplier development and management within a multinational context.

 

Note:

This role is HYBRID; thus, open to candidates near/in/around Austin, TX.

Pay Details: $57.85 per hour
