CHEMICAL ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the development and application of projects in various industries
Oily wastewater treatment,metals-bearing wastewater treatmentandprocess upgrades.
Provide technical guidance, perform engineering duties and drive process efficiency improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Champion safety leadership and adherence to best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree(B.S.)in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in engineering studies and project development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas.
An ability to refine/improve the process groups efficiency and execution capabilities.
Development ofMaterial and Energy Balances (MEB).
Use ofAutoCADto developprocess flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs),and process General Arrangements (GAs).
Develop process and functional controldescriptions andprovide support with operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Experience with Process Safety Management and, especially, Process Hazards Analyses (PHA) is a plus.
Project Management. Ability to develop work scopes and direct various work crafts during construction.
Experience withcommissioning and start-up.
Basic understanding of industrial Electrical and Instrumentation (I&E) and the ability to makerecommendations for instrument selection.
Practical working knowledge of principals of chemical engineering, including heat and mass transfer, and fluid dynamics for pump sizing and pressure loss calculations.
