Job description

JOB PURPOSE
Drive NA region process standardization as an experienced business expert by delivering robust governance procedures and training standards that supports the process development strategy deployment across all North American manufacturing plants ensuring robust, repeatable, and controlled methods are in place to maximize business value and support plant characteristics enhancement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Support the development and implementation of process design strategies and standards including plans & targets to improve the business operating capabilities for the region.
  • Drive regional sustainment initiatives by analyzing regional process data, identifying gaps to standards, delivering effective proposals to countermeasure.
  • Work effectively with local and regional process development and sustainment teams to ensure process standards are created, documented, and sustained.
  • Develop methods and tools to ensure process standardization is maintained throughout the manufacturing sites.
  • Develop and sustain standard training program for process design and deliver when require.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical areas: industrial, manufacturing, systems, or any other equivalent degree with the required experience
  • 3+ years experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Systems with a focus on the automotive industry w/ Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years experience with relevant responsibilities
  • Systems technology experience, knowledge of Process Engineering, business analysis skills, project management, process project design & implementation, change management, MS Office. Thorough understanding of Honda Philosophy and Core Values

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Hybrid position, preferred Ohio site
  • 90% office, 10% production floor (go to the spot)
  • Travel to plant or special assignment.
