At Advanced Technology Products, we are searching for a full-time Process Engineer to join our team in Milford, OH! Established in 1990, ATP is an employee-owned premium manufacturer and distributes plastic tubing, hose, fittings, clamps, and other industrial accessories. We are the industry leader in ergonomically correct designs with added safety features to support assembly and automation applications worldwide, and our Process Engineer will develop standardized processes and drive continuous improvement to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity in all facets of our business.

- Pay: Starting at $70,000/year, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8 AM to 5 PM
The right candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of HANDS-ON Process Engineering experience within polymer extrusion processes
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- CAD layout experience
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and or continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel software applications; SharePoint a plus.
- Proficiency in extrusion process optimization, troubleshooting, and equipment setup and maintenance
- Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-motivated, team player with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to consult with all levels of the workforce
- Ability to champion and influence change
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Responsibilities of our Process Engineer:
- Administering and developing plant Capex and ECN procedures
- Establishing and maintaining plant CAD layouts
- Optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement
- Collaborating with employees, providing technical expertise, and sharing best practices to achieve short-term and long-term improvements
- Documenting and establishing process parameters to assure equipment and processes can produce quality products
- Leading technical projects to achieve successful outcomes
- Performing data driven root cause analysis and corrective action to assist in daily problem solving
- Coordinating continuous improvement efforts
- Leading the selection of extrusion equipment
- Developing and implementing tooling and fixturing designs
- Establishing and maintaining labor standards
- Developing and implementing maintenance plans that reduce equipment downtime
