Are you a resourceful technical lead who combines strategic thinking with problem solving? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Principal Website Technical Specialist - Sitecore and Custom Apps to ensure optimal functionality and performance of our web ecosystem. While not directly doing development or design, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting technical aspects of our websites. This person needs to combine strong problem-solving skills and project management experience with a deep understanding of web technologies, specifically Sitecore XM.
This position will be virtual remote and can be performed anywhere within the continental United States.
Responsibilities
Interface with internal web editor team as a liaison and trusted advisor on issues, problems, technical questions, etc.
Interface with external web development team as a liaison and trusted advisor on issues, problems, technical questions, etc.
Ensure detailed acceptance criteria is provided with JIRA tickets and then verify the Sitecore code meets specifications based on that acceptance criteria
Lead and perform user acceptance testing
Troubleshoot time-sensitive Sitecore issues with web editors, internal customers and developers
Conduct day-to-day website monitoring and maintenance, including updating content, files, and asset management for the website as well as Custom Apps (i.e., jobs, suppliers)
Adhere to an agile process with Northrop Grumman and Agency team members
Contribute to PI planning and backlog grooming
A/B testing lead - Participate in strategy as the subject matter expert, and then lead the execution of A/B testing of to enhance user experience and web page performance through Sitecore personalize or other web tool
Provide Analytics Reporting and Research (Google) using G4 and Looker Studio
Work closely with a variety of Northrop Grumman teams and outside Agencies
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated understanding of the digital marketing capabilities of Sitecore and best practices for customization and implementation. Experience with Sitecore XM a plus
Demonstrated experience of 3 years or more of working a large web ecosystem (more than one property, at least 500 web pages), and must include experience with an enterprise-quality platform, custom application support and integrations with other platforms and data sets
Demonstrated experience with personalization applications (Sitecore or Salesforce preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience with marketing technologies, including Google Tag Manager, OneTrust, and Google Analytics
Proficiency in advertising tech and metrics gathering and sharing through G4, GTM, Looker Studio
Solid understanding of how metrics are derived and capable of providing actionable insights of how metrics relate to and impact performance
Experience working in an agile development process (JIRA, Confluence)
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with web accessibility/ADA concepts
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
A self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team and who isn’t afraid to think outside the box
Capable of translating needs from non-technical teams to development teams to create requirements and ensure acceptance
Manage technical risk on Sitecore projects
Sitecore Search experience
Sitecore Personalize experience
Aprimo DAM experience
Experience in helping teams to integrate applications using web services and REST APIs
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience in a large, matrixed organization
