Practice Manager

Lapeer Pediatrics is seeking a full time self motivated office manager with excellent leadership skills.

Office Manager duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Manager the daily operation of the office to ensure it runs efficiently and productively.
• Ensure that adequate office staffing is available, coordinate staffing responsibilities and designate assignments on a daily basis. Conduct orientation and training of office personnel. Cross-train all office personnel for familiarization with other duties to keep office running efficiently.
• Conduct team meetings.
• Monitor Physicians schedule schedules to make sure appointments are scheduled properly.
• Oversee billing, coding, and collections.
• Maintain current policies and procedures for the office and make sure they are communicated with the staff.
• Implement safe practices.
• Investigate and resolve patient complaints and staff complaints.
• Monitor, evaluate and counsel employees.
• Implement overhead cost controls, monitor and order both medical and office supplies and maintain inventory records.
• Verify and approve employees hours worked on a daily basis.
• Approving employees time off.
• Communicate with Physicians/Business Manager on important issues involving the staff or practice.

Standard Qualifications:

Three years of experience in the following areas: Appointment scheduling, patient registration, electronic medical records, charge entry and/or billing. supervisory experience and practice management .

Bachelor degree preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
