SalaryGrand Valley State University Management Department in the Seidman College of Business invites applications for an Affiliate Faculty of Practice beginning in Fall 2024. Required Qualifications and Education:
- M.B.A. or Master’s degree (or higher) in a related field by August 2024.
- Substantial industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Evidence of professional engagement with the non-profit or business community.

Preferred Qualifications and Education:
- Experience in teaching employment and labor law courses, in addition to traditional human resources/organizational behavior courses.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness: in-person, hybrid, online.
- Exhibited potential to successfully conduct applied research.
- Exhibited commitment to GVSU’s vision of inclusion and equity.
- J.D. and applied HR experience
Responsibilities – Essential Functions:
- The typical teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year with a possible three (3) credit reassignment of time to meet AACSB's required research and service responsibilities.
- Effective teaching at potentially both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Provide service to the department, college, university, and community commensurate with rank and college accreditation requirements.
- Engage in research and professional activities commensurate with rank and college accreditation requirements.
Salary: Starting Salary $80,000; Competitive with excellent fringe benefits (
