Bay Valley Animal Hospital in Bay City Mi has an opening for a Veterinary Practice Manager

The Veterinary Practice Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of our Veterinary Practice. The successful candidate leads a team of veterinary professionals and support staff to ensure the practice meets all operational and quality standards while delivering the highest level of customer service to clients and their pets.

Veterinary Practice Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations including reception, billing, scheduling, and medical records
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance to applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor and review staff performance and provide feedback and coaching
• Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff
• Responsible for the maintenance of all necessary veterinary equipment
• Schedule and organize veterinary appointments
• Manage client complaints and inquiries
• Monitor and maintain inventory

Veterinary Practice Manager Requirements and Qualifications

• CVPM or Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or Business Administration
• 5+ years of experience in a Veterinary Practice setting preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership and management experience
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal care, and customer service
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $46,774.18 - $56,330.20 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
