We are seeking a highly experienced New Home Sales Consultant proficient in sales, construction, customer service, and build-on-your-lot real estate. As a New Home Advisor, you have the opportunity to participate in the building of the American Dream. New Home Star is the largest privately owned seller of New Homes in America. You can join us with a role in cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout their home-building journey. Your role in this process is crucial, as you will act as a resource to educate customers and set essential expectations for a successful New Home build. - Annual base salary $40,000 plus .75% commission.
- Income Earning Potential: $75,000 - $90,000
- Paid time off, which includes the following:

New Home Star and Simplicity Homes seek a motivated, educated, goal-oriented sales professional to join our team. If you fit the requirements below, you are an ideal match for this position!
- Must have weekend availability-scheduling and hours may vary depending on customers and jurisdictions' availability.
- Minimum 4 years of proven success in sales or related professional business roles; preference given to candidates with experience in construction management or build-on-your-lot real estate, coupled with a strong understanding of jurisdictional requirements.
- Proven track record as a go-getter with a drive to excel in the New Home Sales industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology, enhancing the ability to communicate with clients and address their needs effectively.
- Demonstrated passion and skill for engaging with customers in significant purchase decisions, coupled with excellent follow-up skills and a disciplined approach to tasks.
- Proficient computer knowledge/skills (MS Office Suite and CRM system-preference with Salesforce)
- Reliable transportation is required to facilitate travel throughout your workday.
- Valid driver's license and current liability insurance are required.
- Willingness to continuously learn and grow with the company, embracing new challenges and opportunities for professional development.
- Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
- Background check is required.
- This role is primarily remote but will consist of commuting to customers' homesites for evaluations and demonstrations, attending meetings with team members at corporate offices, and appointments with customers at design center selection.
- Provide exceptional customer service, timely follow-up, and guide customers on the home building/buying journey.
- Meet with potential buyers or investors on their lot & guide them through the requirements needed to build a Simplicity Home on their lot(s).
- Manage the site evaluation process by collaborating with customers and senior project managers in gathering important information from jurisdictions and utility providers to discover if their property is buildable.
- Work with homeowner associations (HOA) to ensure adherence to all covenants, codes, and restrictions.
- Collaborate with the estimation and construction team to determine the price of custom options. Ensure information is accurately documented in the contract and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Use marketing initiatives to grow brand awareness with the local community and potential home buyers to generate adequate traffic and sales.
- Participate in recurring sales training via our proprietary sales enablement platform and in person.
- Collaborate on an ongoing basis with the sales team and present quarterly business plans to our builder partners to meet given sales goals.
