Title: Project Analyst (Finance)
Duration: 5months - possibility of extension or even have opportunities to work on other projects/FTE if HC opens

Location: Culver City, CA 90232 (3 days a week in office and 2 days work from home) – the schedule is flexible

• Project Analyst with combination of finance & tech industry background, must have excel skills, project management skills, communication skills. Junior to mid level candidates.

• 2 interview rounds then offer

Description:

Project Analyst, under reasonable direction from more senior departmental team members is responsible for supporting the effective operation of the project management function. This position applies project management methodologies to assigned projects or project phases, in order to meet the goal or objective of the department.

This position works closely with business unit clients to coordinate major schedules, project budgets, project milestones, and ultimate project deliverables, within the scope of the role.

This position supports the department in accomplishing objectives within the agreed timeframes and with the resources assigned.

This position, under guidance, may support senior staff by analyzing resource or other aspects of project management activities using well defined or standard approaches and methodologies.

This position requires a developing knowledge of Project Management methodologies to incorporate and track changes, and optimize on resource deployment.

This position is likely to have responsibility to deliver on project phases or smaller less complex whole projects

Note:

1. Assisting the approval process for all corporate projects including coaching project teams to use established processes and vetting of proposals

2. Assisting project oversight and governance for Finance, IT and other corporate projects

3. Execution tracking, portfolio status, budget management, risk, value and return on investment reporting

4. Reporting on metrics to identify trends and patterns that may lead to process/system opportunities for improvement

5. Working with product owners and project managers to ensure focus on ongoing optimization and evaluation of investment decisions

6. Assisting the development of new tools and processes to support the transition from projects to products

Salary: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:
