Plant Operator

Job Title: Plant Operator

Overview: Working with Plant Supervisor on all aspects of Production.

Safety Expectations: The consultant is required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, consultants and others.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

· Run Mill

· Lab Testing

· Load and Unload liquid materials into tankers and bulk storage tanks

· Keep workplace clean and organized

· Operate forklift and other equipment when needed

· Run errands and pick up supplies when needed

· Ability to follow direction

· Performing other duties around the emulsion plant as required

· Record inventories, run sheets and inspections daily.

· Operating and maintaining valves, pumps, hand/power tools and cutting grass around the facility

· Painting, sweeping, shoveling

· Working overtime and on weekends when needed

· Work from heights and in confined spaces (cleaning out bulk storage tanks)

Requirements:

· •OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certificate

· •Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted

· •High school diploma or GED is preferred

· •Reliable transportation to and from work site

· •Must be able to lift 50 pounds, read a tape measure and be good in basic math

· •Strong work ethic, self-starter and the willingness to help out the team

· •Must have a clean motor-vehicle record

Salay Range: $20-$24
