The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains all power house equipment. Performs daily readings of various plant levels, pressures and temperatures and make adjustments as needed.
- Performs daily chemical tests on boilers, softeners and condensate return water and adjust chemical feeds. Opens boilers annually for inspection and calibrates boiler fuel/air ratios.
- Responds to calls or alarms regarding problems in regulating temperature. Monitors electrical usage and makes necessary changes.
- Removes and installs equipment as required including alignment of pumps and motors for service.
- Possesses knowledge of building automation system for control of air handlers and associated equipment and understanding of pneumatic tube system to assist maintenance mechanics with troubleshooting system problems.
- Assists with snow removal.
- Assists with the moving of items within/between locations and from/to storage, including furniture, equipment and files.Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.

- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
