Juice Plant Machine Operator

The Juice Plant Machine Operator is a role that primarily functions within the Juice Plant in the areas of the press, case packer, and filling operations. This role has a potential for further growth within the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating bottle filling equipment, case packing equipment, or press machines
• Set-up and preparation of the equipment for the days schedule
• Efficiently operating the machines in accordance with good manufacturing processes
• Perform quality checks on products, juice, or packaging as needed
• Operate equipment to production standards needed by the day's schedule
• Stacking Boxes on pallets to be wrapped for shipment
• Perform document control
• Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand on feet for multiple hours at a time, with or without assistance. The employee is required to sit and use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Noise level is usually moderate.
