Job Description
The Plant Manager/Asset Manager role reports to the VP of the organization. Leads safety, technical, operations, maintenance, and quality departments to deliver 24/7 operations in accordance with the Company Safety Principles.
This position has 5 direct reports and 65 site employees (indirect). PSM regulated site. Must have at least 15 years of experience in a petrochemical (or similar) plant leading and managing employees in safe operations.
Will also support and participate in business review/meetings with the commercial department to discuss and align area needs that will enable delivery of product lines via collaboration among Operations, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and other departments as necessary.
Promotes development of concepts, design of experiments, and implementation of best practices to increase plant capacity and reliability or to reduce costs.
Ensures continuous quality control and culture of zero defect.
Assures mechanical integrity inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance in timely completed.
Develops capital program ensuring that project priority, cost and time scale are in line with agreed business objectives. Identify capital investment requirements to meet business objectives. Ensure capital investment programs are on budget and program.
Qualifications Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering (ChE preferred)
- 15+ years Operations or technical experience in a manufacturing environment. Petro-chemical industry experience preferred
- 5+ years supervisory experience
- A strong understanding of a wide range of disciplines/functions (mechanical, electrical, process and control engineering, commissioning, S&OP planning, logistics, and customer service).

- Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to safety
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $189,926.39 per year
