SalaryPLANT MANAGER--world class manufacturer has an exciting opportunity in one of their Houston, Texas manufacturing plants. Global Fortune 500 NYSE giant and is committed to providing a collaborative environment with management and associates. Base salary +/-$200k/yr. plus 25% bonus, equity, pension, 401-K w/co. contribution, medical, dental, life insurance, tuition reimbursement and full co.-paid relo pckg. The Plant Manager is responsible for the management and P&L for the operations and is responsible for managing a staff of approx. 10 salaried managers including production, quality, maintenance, safety, warehouse, human resources and administration. The overall responsibility includes achieving at or better than planned efficiencies and profitability for the plant while ensuring quality standards and operational execution at or above company standards. Keys to success--- • B.S. degree a must, Advanced Technical degree or MBA is a plus • a few years of experience leading TPM processes • Experience of manufacturing for a fast-paced growth business • Manufacturing and office environment experience • Change Management leadership • Agile manufacturing background with experience in plant and operations management • Additional functional experience in at least two of the following areas: Distribution, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and EHS. This is a role for someone who wants to move beyond Plant Manager to multi-site and/or Corp. role. The value of the total 1st-yr. compensation is +/-$300k.
