As our first dedicated QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in establishing and elevating our QA processes, ensuring the highest standards of product quality. In a dynamic environment with multiple product teams, you will take a lead role in building the processes that ensure the flawless delivery of cutting-edge software.
What you'll do:- Architect our QA process. While we have some testing in place, you'll audit our current processes and implement your ideas to build a comprehensive strategy for QA.
- Craft world-class automation. Once you've completed an audit of our current processes, you'll design, develop, and maintain test scripts to automate our QA.
- Create & track KPIs. Clearly define our QA objectives, such as ensuring software reliability, identifying and preventing defects, and enhancing overall product quality, then track KPIs to ensure continued quality.
- Collaborative. You work seamlessly with developers to identify opportunities for automation, updates, or fixes. Your collaborative, cross-functional approach to addressing challenges ultimately improves collaboration and makes our team better.
- Communicator. Your test cases are clear, concise, and easy to understand. You contribute to internal knowledge bases by sharing insights, best practices, and troubleshooting tips.
- Problem-solver. You have a knack for investigating and diagnosing issues to the root cause. Your curiosity and technical chops enable you to identify a solution or implement a tool to solve the problem.
- A bit of a perfectionist. Your high standards make you exceptionally detail-oriented. You think through all possible test scenarios, ensuring that each functionality is thoroughly tested. You are highly accountable and consistent in updating the team on your progress.
This role is tailor-made for someone with experience in Agile development and a proven track record in utilizing automated testing tools to deliver top-notch software quality.
Benefits:
Our benefits go well beyond the basics. To support your work-life integration, we built a benefits program that takes care of the whole person, including physical, mental, financial, and emotional health.
