As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Piping and Installation Manager to join our team and lead our air compressor installation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation of air compressor systems at customer sites while adhering to safety, quality, and timeline standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team and project stakeholders to understand Installation requirements and provide technical expertise during the project proposal phase.
- Conduct site visits to assess installation feasibility, take measurements, and identify any potential challenges or constraints.
- Develop detailed installation plans, including piping layouts, equipment positioning, and project timelines.
- Manage and lead a team of installation technicians, providing clear instructions and guidance throughout the installation process.
- Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and tools required for successful installations.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards in all installations.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections to verify that installations meet the company's high-quality standards and customer expectations.
- Communicate regularly with customers to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation records, progress reports, and expenses.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing Piping and Installation projects, especially air compressor installations, within an industrial setting is ideal.
- Strong technical knowledge of air compressor systems, pneumatic equipment, and related components.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of installation technicians.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling project challenges.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
