Job Title: Accounting Coordinator
Pay rate: Pay based on experience
Full-time 40 hours a week OR Part-Time 25-30 hours a week
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm for Full-Time. Flexible hours for Part-Time
Location: Hanover Park onsite position
Reports to Accounting Manager
Summary:
Support the Accounting Manager and Controller with finance and accounting activities including functional responsibility over accounts payable, billing and collections.
Duties:
Generate, manage and supervise accounts payable invoice processing.
Implement account procedures. Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
Analyze and mange AR. Present monthly AR status and keep leadership abreast of AR financial status.
Prepare sales and gross margin monthly reports and reconcile sales and cost of sales to the general ledger.
Process daily packing slips to create billing to customers and daily cash receipts in system.
Assure internal control compliance. Assist with monthly closing process.
Develop and implement training programs as needed.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor degree preferred.
Solid computer skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Epicor ERP Software.
Experience working in a professional office environment.
Superb organization, communication, attention to detail and clerical input accuracy skills.
Great work ethic and service-based positive attitude.
Able to communicate with all levels of management and have excellent math skills.
Self starter with ability to work in a team environment.
