311 MD is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) WITH PERSONAL INJURY EXPERIENCE to join our team in Dearborn, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the form of wound assessment, treatment, and management
- Document patient visits and care in accordance with medical record standards
- Order appropriate testing: quantitative range of motion tests; MRIs; EMGs/NCTs; CT scan; Pain management and Surgical consults
- Prescribe medications
- Recommend treatments-Chiropractic Care, Physical therapy, Spinal injections, Surgery
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Communicate with other healthcare providers and attorneys regarding patient care
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Complete appropriate forms-disability; home care; work release/time off / modified duty, etc.
- Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Michigan
- Previous experience in PERSONAL INJURY
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- EMR experience recommended.
