This is a job for an energetic person that loves to make beautiful, delicious donuts and likes to be on the move! This individual will weigh out dry ingredients, get liquid ingredients to the right temperature and then blend all together leading to beautiful, delicious donut batter. We have others that run the fryer, so this individual will mainly fill the hoppers with the batter they make, keep the fryer oil filled and clean the room and equipment at the end of the shift. We produce thousands of donuts daily! We all help our donut team, and our donut team helps with other tasks in the bakery when able and asked. Must be 16 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Weigh out dry ingredients, get liquid ingredients to the right temperature and then blend all together leading to beautiful, delicious donut batter.
• Fill the hoppers with the batter they make, keep the fryer oil filled and clean the room and equipment at the end of the shift.
• Ensure a fresh and appealing product.
• Follow and comply with established health code procedures, including health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
• Operate and sanitize all bakery equipment in a safe and proper manner according to procedures required by local health department.
• Clean the work area – wash all counter surfaces, sweep and mop the bakery floors.
• Other duties as assigned by bakery manager or owner.

• Proper handling of knives and other cutting equipment.
• Must be able to work around and with various food machinery/equipment.
• Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the bakery.

Other essential job functions

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Reach above and below shoulders and squat.
• Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $24.00 per hour
