At our Home/Corporate Office, Benchmark is looking for a Receptionist to be responsible for front desk coverage including greeting visitors and vendors, answering the telephone, coding invoices, overseeing the postage meter, and metering mail.
Hours can vary, nights and weekends needed
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Greet and direct visitors in the Home Office
- Sort incoming mail
- Responsible for postage machine, restocking supplies and processing outgoing mail
- Send mail via USPS or FedEx
- Maintain and arrange for document management pickups for HO, including shred bins
- Keep reception area and clean occasional dusting of display trophies
- Order flowers and/or gifts from BSL with corporate pricing and guidelines
- Maintain HO phone list and community phone list and updates on a monthly basis
- Manage Open Path system for building access to the HO
- Support other Administrative staff
- Code invoices related to overall office management function
- Coordinate with BPX Office regarding office space issues (repairs, leaks, bulb replacement, rug cleaning, trash removal)
- Other projects as requested
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
- High School graduate or equivalent certificate
- Previous office experience required
Required Skills/Abilities
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) as well as familiarity with Internet search tools
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of office equipment and ability to troubleshoot problems
