This is a wonderful opportunity to impact your community in a positive way! Summersville Public Library is seeking a part-time (20 hours) Library Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting patrons in the use of library services, facilities, and equipment. This role calls for the ability to complete light physical labor including cleaning. Additionally, assisting in facilitating programs, including weekly Story Time, will be expected. Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma, or GED, with a commitment to excellence in customer service, exceptional communication skills (verbal and written); ability to organize work priorities; ability to work well with the public and library staff; proven computer and technology literacy.
